Queer Minds Movement Sessions: Yoga for Beginners
Starting in December and continuing into 2026, Queer Minds will be hosting monthly movement sessions on the 3rd Monday of every month from 6-8pm!
We’re excited to be collaborating with Anton Reuben Young for our first three sessions – Yoga for Beginners.
These sessions are open to everyone regardless of your level of experience with yoga, though it will be led at a gentle pace and suitable for those who have never tried yoga before.
You are welcome to sign up to one, two, or all three sessions:
- 15 December 2025
- 19 January 2026
- 16 February 2026
Yoga mats and other props will be provided! Just arrive on time wearing comfortable clothing suitable for movement.
There is a space for you to share accessibility needs when registering.
About the facilitator
Anton is a London-based yoga teacher who has been guiding students since completing his teacher training in 2017. His approach to yoga is rooted in curiosity, creativity, and compassion—always encouraging students to explore movement in a way that feels authentic and empowering to their individual bodies.
With a deep appreciation for both the strength and subtlety of the human form, Anton weaves anatomy-informed sequencing with playful exploration. His classes are grounded in functional movement and strength-building, often themed around specific muscle groups or intriguing ways of moving. You’ll find a healthy dose of humour and lightness in his teaching style—he believes yoga can be both profound and playful, challenging and deeply human.
Whether you’re wobbling, wiggling, or meeting your edge, Anton creates a space where students can learn, laugh, and connect with themselves on and off the mat.
