SUMMARY:LGBTQ+ Community Meditation
DESCRIPTION:This guided meditation group creates a unique space for LGBTQ+ people to foster friendship and practice meditation.\n\n\nThe sessions will feature a variety of mindfulness\, loving-kindness and wisdom meditations. There’ll also be sharing and connecting\, poetry and more. Through this\, we’ll cultivate a warm awareness of our own experience and go beyond the individual to explore how we can grow and flourish as a community. There’ll also be the option to socialise in the cafe area after. \nNo prior meditation experience required. Also suitable for those who are trying to establish a regular practice within a supportive environment. \nSessions are free\, with an optional donation towards establishing a permanent LGBTQ+ community centre. DESCRIPTION:UNBOUND is a 3-hour transformational workshop featuring a dynamic blend of breathwork\, embodiment practices\, and self-exploration exercises.\n\n\nUNBOUND is a transformational 3-hour workshop designed to help participants break free from limitations\, reclaim inner safety\, and step into their power. \nThrough a dynamic blend of breathwork\, embodiment practices\, and self-exploration exercises\, this workshop provides tangible tools to release fear\, self-doubt\, and old conditioning while fostering deep self-trust. \nAlexandor will guide participants through a journey of nervous system regulation\, somatic awareness\, and personal empowerment\, helping them reconnect with their bodies and authentic expression. \nThe session includes a guided breathwork practice to facilitate emotional release and connecting mind-body-soul\, teaching pieces on self-liberation and safety\, and interactive exercises to embody newfound freedom. \nThe workshop is rooted in safety\, self-expression\, and community\, creating a space where participants feel seen\, held\, and empowered. DESCRIPTION:Bridge the generation gap! Enjoy a relaxed Sunday afternoon tea and get to know older and younger people\, aged 18-118.\n\n\nBridge the generation gap! Enjoy a relaxed sunday afternoon tea with the gay grandpersons. Get to know older and younger people\, aged 18-118! With facilitated discussions and different topics and activities each month. Free refreshments. \nAttend this first get-together and help shape what we do in the coming months. \nAbout the facilitators \nBrixton Umbrella Circle is an independent\, peer led\, self-help group for older (50+) LGBTQ’s.
