DESCRIPTION:A space for bi+ people to come together\, reflect\, share experiences\, learn more and celebrate bisexuality!\n\n\nHappy Bisexual Health Awareness Month! \nThis March\, join us in this validating space for bi+ people to come together\, reflect\, share experiences\, learn more and celebrate bisexuality — all while meeting fabulous new bi besties. \nWho is this for: \nThis event is for absolutely anyone who identifies within the bi+ spectrum (whatever label you use\, stage of your journey\, or gender identity) and wants to grow their bi-specific community. \nWhat to expect: \n \n\nBi+ bingo\nMaking your own bi flag\nSpeed-friending\nSnacks\n\nLooking forward to the chaos! \n \nLooking forward to the chaos! \n🩷💜💙 \nAbout the facilitator \nFlorence Scordoulis (she/her) is a freelance journalist specialising in LGBTQ+ experiences\, as well as women’s lifestyle. \nShe writes for publications including The Guardian\, The i Paper\, Stylist and Diva. Plus\, she publishes a weekly Substack newsletter\, Bi Bitch\, all about bisexuality. \nShe is also an experienced facilitator\, having run educational LGBTQ+ events for organisations such as Stonewall\, Queer Britain and London Friend\, in addition to volunteering for Bi Pride. \nFlorence was recently celebrated in her alma mater The University of Cambridge’s inaugural Queer 100 list\, for her contributions to LGBTQ+ equality. \nYou can follow her work on Instagram. \nAccessibility \nThe Centre’s accessibility statement is here. \nCovid safety at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre \nTo keep our community safe\, we ask that all visitors do not visit the centre if they are feeling any Covid-19 symptoms including headache\, fever\, sore throat\, consistent cough and chills. \nYou can wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. DESCRIPTION:For all LGBTQ+ performers!\n\n\nCome\, take the mic and talk/sing/dance/perform in whichever way you see fit. All performances are welcome. \nWe want to cultivate a welcoming energy where we all feel comfortable to stand in front of people and just go for it! \nIf you want to just sit and relax or don’t know for sure whether you are up for performing with an audience\, you’re also welcome to come and take a look at what’s on. Maybe you find the inspiration to take the mic next time. \nInstruments aren’t available\, but you’re welcome to bring your own. \nTime will be limited to five minutes per appearance.
