SUMMARY:PMDD Meetup
DESCRIPTION:A space for anyone experiencing PMDD (diagnosed or undiagnosed) to come and meet other people experiencing this condition.\n\n\nA space for people experiencing PMDD (diagnosed or undiagnosed) to come and meet other people going through this debilitating condition. \nPMDD affects people’s daily lives and relationships and this meetup is to ensure nobody feels alone in what they are experiencing. \nThis will be a relaxed atmosphere where you can chat to one another over a tea/coffee. There will be mindfulness colouring to take part in if you’d like to. \nAbout the facilitator \nMargarita (she/her) has experienced PMDD for years before finding out about the condition itself. It has affected many aspects of her life\, including the ability to work full-time and her relationships. \nDuring her luteal phase\, she often feels like a completely different person and isolates herself from others. \nMargarita came across The PMDD Project (the first charity for PMDD in the UK)\, and after attending their first event in April\, she felt so validated that she wanted to create a space where people can come together regularly and feel less alone. \nAccessibility \nOur full accessibility statement is here. \nCovid safety at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre \nTo keep our community safe\, we ask that all visitors do not visit the Centre if they are feeling any Covid-19 symptoms including a headache\, fever\, sore throat\, consistent cough or chills. \nYou can wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. We also have masks and hand sanitiser available at the Centre. \nFor current information on Covid please visit the NHS website. \nDonate to the Centre \nWe rely on donations to ensure that the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre can keep its doors open for years to come. \nTo donate or become a Friend of the Centre\, visit our website.
