SUMMARY:Losing My Religion
DESCRIPTION:A monthly support group for LGBTQ+ people who’ve left their religion.\n\n\nWere you part of a high-control religion\, have you deconstructed or been expelled? Have you lost contact with family\, friends and community? Then this is the group for you. \nAde started this group to create a space for people to share their experiences of their exit from religion\, the way that it has impacted their lives and to find community again. \nIf you are looking for people who understand what you have been through and want to meet some cool queer peeps\, then come to losing my religion. \nP.S. this is not an anti-religion group. \nAbout the facilitator \nAde (he/him) is from a super religious family. He created this group for people who have left their community behind and want to find a new community. \nAccessibility at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre \nThe Centre’s accessibility statement is here. \nCovid safety at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre \nTo keep our community safe\, we ask that all visitors do not visit the Centre if they are feeling any Covid-19 symptoms including headache\, fever\, sore throat\, consistent cough or chills. \nYou can wear a mask if you feel more comfortable.
