DESCRIPTION:LGBTQ+ friendly beginners and intermediate ballet class.  A holistic practice that will improve your strength\, coordination and flexibility.\n\n\nThis weekly ballet class is designed for members of the LGBTQ+ community who want to learn the foundations of ballet or build on existing skills in a safe\, supportive\, and welcoming environment. \nThrough a holistic approach to movement\, the class helps improve strength\, coordination\, flexibility\, and body awareness.  \nParticipants are encouraged to explore their physical abilities and creativity through the expressive art of ballet. \nNo formal ballet attire is required. Simply wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Ballet shoes are optional. \nCome along to move\, connect\, and experience the joy of dancing in community — and perhaps discover a little more of your true essence along the way. \nAbout the organiser \nAt Ballet in the Park\, we believe ballet belongs to everyone. Our mission is to break down the elitist barriers that have long surrounded this art form and reimagine ballet as a space of freedom\, expression\, and belonging. DESCRIPTION:A weekly strength and conditioning class suitable for all levels.\n\n\nA full body workout including mat work and body weight exercises. \nThis class is designed to support balance\, strength and coordination with a range of steady controlled movements. \nThis class would benefit anyone starting with strength and conditioning\, those looking to improve performance\, or folks returning to fitness and training. \nThis class will complement other training such as sports\, marathons or strength programmes\, as well as day-to-day living to help you build strong foundations for better mobility\, strength and conditioning. \nAbout the facilitator \nLianne is an LGBTQ+ focused strength and conditioning coach and community facilitator. She runs classes\, coaching groups and 1-1 personal training sessions around South London. DESCRIPTION:A space for LGBTQ+ freelancers\, students and work-from-homers\n\n\nJoin us for coffee\, a desk and queer business! \nEvery Wednesday the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre opens its space for freelancers\, students and anyone that work remotely. \nAt 1pm we’ll have a social lunch hour so we can have an arranged time to break for lunch and have a chat. It can be tricky to fit in a proper lunch break and we are hoping this will help. \nIf you don’t want to join\, that’s okay! It’ll just be an hour with slightly more chatting and background noise\, no pressure at all. On sunny days we’ll eat outside. \nThis coworking space is run in partnership with Business Queers\, a network of freelancers and small business operators.
