DESCRIPTION:Weekly Muay Thai Self-Defence classes focused on building confidence\, communication\, and empowerment in a supportive\, judgement-free space.\n\n\nKarina’s Muay Thai classes focus on building confidence\, communication\, and empowerment in a supportive\, judgement-free space. Students are encouraged to train at their own pace while building physical strength\, fitness\, and practical skills. \nThrough interactive drills\, partner work\, and teamwork\, students develop coordination\, resilience\, and confidence—whether their goal is fitness\, self-defence\, or training to compete in the long term. \nThese sessions are funded by the London Marathon Foundation. \nAbout the facilitator \nBorn in Hong Kong\, Karina began her martial arts journey at 4 years old. With over 18 years of training and competition across multiple countries\, she brings a versatile background in Muay Thai\, Taekwondo\, K1\, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Her adaptable style blends technical skill\, fitness\, and fun. \nKarina’s classes are a safe\, welcoming space with no judgement – only encouragement. DESCRIPTION:Titan is QTPOC barber bringing his services to the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre every two weeks.  \nHe has 8 years of experience in shops and freelancing with a wealth of knowledge working with all hair types. They aim to create a welcoming and safe environment for people within the LGBTQ+ community. \nServices vary from tidy-ups to complete re-styles at a lower rate than most London barber shops. \nPrices list: \n\nBeard trim (30 mins) – £12\nPatterns (30 mins) – £12\nUndercut (30 mins) – £12\nClipper cut (45 mins) – £18\nScissor cut (45 mins) – £18\nFade (45 mins) – £22\nMullet (1hr) – 25\nRestyle (long to short\, 1hr) – £30\nPay it forward* – £5/£10\n\n*Free haircuts are available for people who can’t afford them\, no questions asked. Just pick up a free trim card. \nNo booking required – just drop-in during 1:30-7:30pm! \nThe drop-in is open until 7:30pm. Last appointments will be available until 7pm\, as the Centre closes at 8pm. DESCRIPTION:LGBTQ+ Life Drawing Class featuring LGBTQ+ models\, facilitated by Kai Kathleen.\n\n\nLGBTQ+ Life Drawing Classes featuring LGBTQ+ models facilitated by Kai Kathleen (they/them). This event is for people over 18. \nBasic materials will be provided (such as paper\, clipboards\, pencils\, pastels etc.) but bringing your own is encouraged. \n\nWe will begin with an intro to the space and the model\nWe will explain the prompts/techniques to try\, give you some guidance and we’ll get into the creating!\nWe will have a short break mid way and also time for sharing and socialising at the end\nThe class is open to all abilities (even if you think you can’t draw – you CAN!) and our aim is to create a brave and vulnerable space for us to connect and enjoy the creative process together. \nFor more info or any questions please message Kai at @kaikathleenn on Instagram.\n\nAbout the facilitator \nKai Kathleen (they/them) is a queer Illustrator/Artist based in Surrey\, whose vibrant and often political work focuses on their passion for LGBTQ+ empowerment and taboo-tackling subjects. \nThey use their art as activism and aim to highlight the need for inclusivity and queer representation.
