Join us for our end of year social. A laid-back afternoon filled with board games\, snacks\, and great company! Whether you’re a board game pro or just looking to try something new\, we’ve got a range of games for everyone to enjoy. \nCome along to meet new people\, enjoy some light bites\, and dive into some friendly competition. It’s the perfect way to unwind\, socialise\, and connect with others in the community. \nGrab your friends\, or come solo and make new ones – everyone is welcome! \nLocation: London LGBTQ+ Community Centre \nDate: Saturday 21st September 2024 \nArrival time: 3pm \nAge: 18+ \nWho is this for? This is an exclusive event for queer women and non-binary people of colour. \nWhat to bring: \n🌼 Any games \n🌼 Any additional snacks \nAbout Touch Grass \nTouch Grass is an outdoor community for queer women and non-binary people of colour. \nWe are committed to fostering community growth through outdoor gatherings and wellness-focused trips that encourage us to rekindle our relationship with nature. Our immersive experiences go beyond relaxation—it’s about empowerment\, wellness\, and forging meaningful connections. \nOur vision is for queer people of colour to see the outdoors as a space where we belong. A Natural England study found that White people are 70% more likely than Black and Asian people to spend time in the countryside. We want to change this. We deserve to reap the benefits of improved emotional well-being and physical health too. \nWe believe creativity and nature go hand in hand\, which is why most of our events encourage you to embrace nature and your inner creative spirit.
