DESCRIPTION:The Southwark Wellbeing Hub hosts fortnightly pop-ups at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre\, providing information and advice and can signpost you to resources and helpful organisations. \nNo booking is required – just pop in! \nAbout the facilitator \nThe Southwark Wellbeing Hub is a community hub which offers signposting\, one-to-one support\, wellbeing workshops\, volunteering opportunities and peer support groups to residents of Southwark aged 18+ who have low to moderate mental health needs. \nAccessibility \nThe Centre’s accessibility statement is here. \nCovid safety at the Centre \nTo keep our community safe\, we ask that all visitors do not visit the Centre if they are feeling any Covid-19 symptoms including headache\, fever\, sore throat\, consistent cough and chills. \nYou can wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. DESCRIPTION:Queer Kizomba is back for another run in London as part of the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre’s special LGBT+ History Month programme. \nJoin us for a new 6-week journey led by the one and only Tsunami Tânia throughout 2025 LGBT+ History Month. This progressive course offers a welcoming space to explore the beautiful rhythms and sensual movements of Kizomba\, reimagined through a queer and inclusive lens. \nEach week\, you will learn the fundamentals of this Angolan dance style and music genre\, from its signature steps to its cultural significance\, all while embracing creativity\, authentic self-expression\, and community. \nThis course is designed to build confidence and skill progressively\, and open to all levels and everyone.
