SUMMARY:BSL Practice Meetup
DESCRIPTION:A place for LGBTQ+ people who are learning British Sign Language\, or curious to start\, to meet up and practice conversation.\n\n\nBSL Practice Meetups are for LGBTQ+ people learning BSL\, or curious to start\, to get together and chat in a semi-structured environment. \nWe welcome people of all levels to come along and have a go\, whether it’s your first time or you’ve been signing for a while. \nWe won’t have a teacher\, it’s more of an informal learning environment- as much a place to meet other queer people who share your interest as it is a place to learn a language. \nAccessibility: \nThe Centre’s accessibility statement is here. \nCovid and mpox safety at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre: \nTo keep our community safe\, we ask that all visitors do not visit the Centre if they are feeling unwell including headache\, fever\, sore throat\, consistent cough\, chills and unusual spots\, scabs or ulcers. \nYou can wear a mask if you feel more comfortable.
