A Natural England study found that White people are 70% more likely than Black and Asian people to spend time in the countryside. We want to change this. DESCRIPTION:Intermission is a monthly meet-up for intersex folks and their allies hosted by intersex actor and advocate\, Ki Griffin.\n\n\nIntermission is a monthly meet-up for intersex folks and their allies hosted by intersex actor and advocate\, Ki Griffin. \nAimed to bring together the intersex community in London\, Intermission is a casual group lead session that will develop with the interests of the group. \nAbout the facilitator: \nKi is a multidisciplinary creative practitioner from London who identifies as a Black trans-masculine non-binary\, queer person with an intersex variation\, using he/him and they/them pronouns. \nPrimarily working as an actor\, he portrayed the first non-binary character in a British soap opera as his television debut\, they have continued to make groundbreaking steps in the industry playing only transgender\, non-binary and intersex characters in his career so far. \nOutside of their acting work\, they are an LGBTQIA+ advocate who has spoken at multiple panels and events including Trans+ Pride and WOW Festival as well as DJ performing across London and the North of England. \nAccessibility: \nThe meetup will take place via Zoom. DESCRIPTION:Sonic Hub Presents: Sonic Queermas | An end of year networking event to unify queer creatives in the music industry! \nSonic Hub is a music and culture publication based in the UK that primarily focuses on highlighting small artists and showcasing them to a new audience. Our mission is to create a safe space for all kinds of women and non-binary creatives to excel in the music industry. \nThe holiday season\, just like the music industry\, can be very isolating and daunting. For that reason\, Sonic Hub is throwing one last event in 2024\, a chill networking event where queer creatives in the music industry can come\, hang out and meet likeminded individuals! (musicians\, journalists\, producers\, photographers and many many others). \nThere will cute snacks\, small little Christmas tokens\, music and amazing people! The event is entirely self-funded and curated with the utmost love and care. Any donations will revert back to the magazine and go into our 2025 program! DESCRIPTION:Our monthly 50+ social meetup for bisexual and pansexual folks at an intersectional\, intergenerational and safer LGBTQ+ haven.\n\n\nBi the Way is a dynamic monthly social group designed for bisexual and pansexual individuals to come together and connect. \nOur gatherings offer a warm and supportive environment where you can meet new friends\, share your experiences\, and celebrate your identity. The group gathers every fourth Monday to host a variety of activities\, discussions\, and community events to foster a sense of belonging and fun. \nWhether you’re seeking meaningful conversations or just a good time with like-minded people\, Bi the Way is the perfect place for you. \nAbout the facilitators: \nSophie (she/her) lives in north London with her partner\, in a flat filled with houseplants and books. Sophie has been working in policy and politics for almost ten years. Outside of work she enjoys gardening\, hiking\, going to the gym\, and cooking while singing along (off-key)to music from the 60s and 70s. \nMackenzie (she/her) lives in south London. She’s a graduate student working towards her PhD in Computer Science. Outside of her studies\, she loves to run\, swim\, walk neighborhood dogs\, cheer on Arsenal\, listen to podcasts\, read books\, and eat her way around the city. \nTiarna (she/her) lives in east London. She’s a PhD candidate working in biomedical engineering. DESCRIPTION:Intermission is a monthly meet-up for intersex folks and their allies hosted by intersex actor and advocate\, Ki Griffin.\n\n\nIntermission is a monthly meet-up for intersex folks and their allies hosted by intersex actor and advocate\, Ki Griffin. \nAimed to bring together the intersex community in London\, Intermission is a casual group lead session that will develop with the interests of the group. \nAbout the facilitator: \nKi is a multidisciplinary creative practitioner from London who identifies as a Black trans-masculine non-binary\, queer person with an intersex variation\, using he/him and they/them pronouns. \nPrimarily working as an actor\, he portrayed the first non-binary character in a British soap opera as his television debut\, they have continued to make groundbreaking steps in the industry playing only transgender\, non-binary and intersex characters in his career so far. \nOutside of their acting work\, they are an LGBTQIA+ advocate who has spoken at multiple panels and events including Trans+ Pride and WOW Festival as well as DJ performing across London and the North of England. \nAccessibility: \nThe meetup will take place via Zoom.
