SUMMARY:Queer Minds Trans Care Day
DESCRIPTION:Join Queer Minds for a Trans Care Day at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre. \nThere will be food from the Lovage Project\, haircuts from Titan Trims\, massages from Von-Luc Thomas-Jones\, Spectrum chest binders from G(END)ER SWAP\, radar keys and other resources from Community Aid 4 Tranz\, zines from London Zine Box\, and a Trans Death Café led by Sukey Venables Fisher. Plus\, all of it is free! \n\nThis event has been funded by Southwark Council’s Pride fund.  \nAbout the organiser \nQueer Minds is a peer support service for LGBTQIA+ people (aged 18+) who live\, work or play in Lambeth and Southwark. This service is by us\, for us and is for those who are looking to connect with others and get support for their mental health. \nWe currently run two monthly peer support groups\, a trans drop-in group\, and various workshops and activities with partner organisations including Battersea Arts Centre\, Black Psychotherapy\, Block 336\, Bold Tendencies\, The Garden Museum\, Tate and Trans Chorus. \nYou can find out more on the South East London Mind Queer Minds website or on Instagram. \nAccessibility at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre \nThe Centre’s accessibility statement is here. \nCovid safety at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre \nTo keep our community safe\, we ask that all visitors do not visit the Centre if they are feeling unwell including headache\, fever\, sore throat\, consistent cough and chills. \nYou can wear a mask if you feel more comfortable.
