This taught Yamina the value of food\, how not to waste food and how to use simple ingredients with maximum flavours to make delicious\, filling and nourishing meals. \nFor Yamina\, learning to cook hasn’t been the result of a fancy culinary school. She’s a self-taught baker and most of this has come through research\, travel\, seeing new cultures and foods\, all of which have inspired her to push myself further. \nIt has been a journey of trial and error\, as well as learning about herself and her culture and using those experiences to make my food taste better. \nYamina wants to inspire people to cook more and waste less. Her motto is\, “Life is too short to eat bad food”\, so join her on this journey to eat well and bring people together through love of food. \nAccessibility: \nThe Centre’s accessibility statement is here. \nCovid and mpox safety at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre: \nTo keep our community safe\, we ask that all visitors do not visit the centre if they are feeling any Covid-19 and/or mpox symptoms including headache\, fever\, sore throat\, consistent cough\, chills and unusual spots\, scabs or ulcers. \nYou can wear a mask if you feel more comfortable.
