SUMMARY:Queer Women and Non-Binary Breathwork
DESCRIPTION:A breathwork session for queer women and non-binary people to explore themselves through breath and learn tools to help stressful situations\n\n\nOur Queer Women and Non-Binary Day is back for another year! The first event of the day is a breathwork session\, led by Iva. \nWe start off by shaking off our bodies to lose tension. Once we’ve done a quick shake we settle down in a sacred circle\, checking the way we breathe without controlling our breath. This involves moving into just noticing where our breath is and how it flows through our body. \nSlowly we start to consciously connect your breath to the rhythm of the breathing exercise we will go through\, elevating our energy of love together and connecting on a higher deeper level with another. \nClosing up with a sacred circle by voluntarily sharing your experience\, feeling oneness and a big group hug. \nDisclaimer: \nIf you’re experiencing one of the following\, please get in touch with us at hello@londonlgbtqcentre.org as we’ll need to share with the facilitator. \n \n\nPregnancy\nAsthma\nEpilepsy\nCardiovascular Diseases\nMental health condition\nPhysical injuries\nCancer\nHigh blood pressure\nSeizures\n\nIn case of not reporting\, you are taking full responsibility for taking place in a breathwork session. \nIf you’re unsure whether this space is for you\, email us at hello@londonlgbtqcentre.org! \nAbout the facilitator: \nIva (she/her) is a very happy\, peaceful\, caring and soul full of love dedicated to teaching breathwork. \nShe works with clients 1:2:1 and leads group sessions and workshops through Iv’s Breathwork Saturday Club. \nAccessibility \nThe Centre’s accessibility statement is here. \nCovid safety at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre \nTo keep our community safe\, we ask that all visitors do not visit the Centre if they are feeling unwell including headache\, fever\, sore throat\, consistent cough or chills. \nYou can wear a mask if you feel more comfortable.
