We announce that Raga D’silva, Chair of the Board of Trustees at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre, has stepped down from her position.
Under Raga’s leadership, the Centre has achieved a stable financial foundation and grown significantly, expanding from our initial team of four, to soon be nine dedicated colleagues. This growth reflects our success, investment, and the maturity of our organisation.
During the transition period, Deputy Chair Angus Waite will assume the role of interim Chair, ensuring the continuity of our operations and leadership.
The Centre will remain open and continue to serve as an essential community hub for LGBTQ+ individuals in London.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Raga for her invaluable contributions and support in advancing our mission to create a more connected, inclusive, and thriving LGBTQ+ community in London.
