Our Vision

A more connected, belonging and thriving LGBTQ+ community in London.

Our Mission

To provide London with a sober, intersectional, intergenerational, community centre and café where all LGBTQ+ people feel welcome and supported, can build connections, and flourish.

Our Values

Respect

We respect and welcome everyone’s individuality and journeys. We love ourselves and each other and everything we do and how we do it is driven by that love and compassion.

We listen, reflect and action; with transparency and empathy.

Community

Our ethos ‘for the community, by the community’ is central to everything we do.

We strive to create a welcoming, intergenerational space for our community to thrive. A hub where individuals, local organisations and grassroots groups come together and strong community relationships are built. A home for all.

Intersectionality

We take an intersectional approach to our work, and acknowledge the different identities that make our community as bright and as beautiful as it is.

We will always listen and make sure your voice is heard. Everyone, regardless of their age, race, background, class, faith or walk of life is welcome and celebrated at the Centre.

Empowerment

A community that feels safe, proud and united, is an empowered community.

Our Centre is a place to celebrate the joy of living as our whole true selves. Where our community’s values and rights are protected and preserved. Where history is celebrated and written.

There’s nothing as powerful as feeling comfortable in our own skin. To fearlessly live our lives.

Solidarity

Today and every day we stand in solidarity with all our LGBTQ+ siblings, regardless of class, race, gender, age, ability, beliefs or culture.

Our Centre is open to our entire community to amplify all our voices, breakdown stigmas and support each other.

A place where we care for one another to keep fighting the fight; together.

Responsibility

Statement:

We understand the responsibility we hold towards our community and are committed to running our organisation with integrity, sound governance and transparency.

We will always be accountable for our actions and impact in our community and our city. Values we will encourage in those we work with and support.
