About the facilitator:
Yamina (she/her) is a baker and private chef living and working in London.
Growing up with little food, her family always had to make something from nothing. This taught Yamina the value of food, how not to waste food and how to use simple ingredients with maximum flavours to make delicious, filling and nourishing meals.
For Yamina, learning to cook hasn’t been the result of a fancy culinary school. She’s a self-taught baker and most of this has come through research, travel, seeing new cultures and foods, all of which have inspired her to push myself further.
It has been a journey of trial and error, as well as learning about herself and her culture and using those experiences to make my food taste better.
Yamina wants to inspire people to cook more and waste less. Her motto is, “Life is too short to eat bad food”, so join her on this journey to eat well and bring people together through love of food.
