Join us at The Africa Centre for a film screening of one of Topher Campbell’s documentaries. Please note this event is for Black LGBTQ+ people.

Topher is an acclaimed filmmaker and activist, exploring the rich history and pivotal milestones of Black LGBTQ+ communities in Britain.

The event includes a panel talk following the screening where artists, activists and cultural historians, including Campbell himself, discuss the profound impact of these events and the importance of archiving our own histories.

About Topher Campbell

Topher Campbell is an artist and filmmaker whose 30-year output spans film, theatre, performance, writing, archive, exhibitions and sculpture. His focus has been on sexuality, masculinity, race, human rights, memoir and climate change.

About Queer Film Club

Queer Film Club hold bi-monthly screenings at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre and other venues.
