Join TAKDAJA’s Helix Hunt where science meets socialising, with prizes, laughs, and a few surprises along the way. This is more than just a game – it’s an opportunity to connect with others in our community while learning about the incredible science that makes us who we are.

About the facilitator:

TAKDAJA is an alternative, interdisciplinary theatre company based in the U.K. creating dynamic and visual productions that challenge traditional narratives. Their past work has been described by Cindy Marcolina of Broadway World U.K. as “Brazen experimentalism leans into performance art and blurs the lines of form and style with a non-narrative approach. They challenge the status quo chest first, testing the limits and the very concept of a play to introduce ideas like naked existentialism, romantic disillusionment, unilateral desire, gender expectations, cultural demands, and the juxtaposition of perception and reality”.

Covid and mpox safety at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre:

To keep our community safe, we ask that all visitors do not visit the centre if they are feeling any Covid-19 and/or mpox symptoms including headache, fever, sore throat, consistent cough, chills and unusual spots, scabs or ulcers.

You can wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. We also have masks and hand sanitiser available at the Centre.
