This hands-on session is designed for caregivers and children of all ages to enjoy creating together.
While you’re visiting – don’t miss the Drawing Room’s Window Gallery exhibition of Pride Banners from Southwark Pride 2025!
This is an inclusive event, in collaboration with the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre, for anyone who identifies as part of the LGBTQ+ community, and their family! Parents, adoptive parents, co-parents, carers, foster parents — all are welcome. No matter how your family is formed, this event is for you. We celebrate every kind of family structure in a warm, friendly space.
Light refreshments will be provided, but feel free to bring snacks too!
Drop into one of two sessions on Sunday 13 July: 12pm-2pm or 2pm-4pm.
Please note this event is hosted at Drawing Room, Unit 1b New Tannery Way, 58 Grange Road, Bermondsey, London, SE1 5WS.
Access at Drawing Room
We aim to make this event accessible to everyone. The venue is wheelchair accessible, with step-free entry, accessible toilets, and seating. A limited number of noise mufflers are available. If you have specific accessibility needs or questions, please contact mail@drawingroom.org.uk — and we will do our best to support you.
The library offers a quiet space to step away and take a break from the session if needed.
About this event
This is a pilot event which we hope to make a regular fixture here at Drawing Room. If we have a good turn-out and positive response we hope to fundraise to make this happen regularly. Currently this event is funded in kind by Drawing Room. However we are a charity and rely on donations to sustain our events. If you enjoy this event and are able to, please consider making a donation using the donation point.
About Drawing Room

We champion the unlimited potential of drawing to help us understand ourselves, each other and our world, through exhibitions, learning projects and a unique library.
