LGBTQ+ Improv Workshop
May 3, 2025 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Free - £10.00A drop-in workshop for LGBTQ+ people of any experience level. Improv is all about collaboration and saying yes to people’s ideas. Follow your spontaneity, trust your gut and you’ll be surprised at what worlds you can create.
Improv is not just about being funny; improv is an amazing way to help people dealing with social anxiety or for people that want some practice feeling a little more free in their public speaking.
This is a low-stakes workshop where we can share some laughs and maybe even make some new friends. Through games and exercises we’ll create stories, characters and learn the fundamentals of improvisation.
Note: Please ensure that you arrive on time for this workshop. We will cover our code of conduct and accessibility in the first five minutes.
Unfortunately we aren’t able to permit anyone who arrives late as it’s mandatory to take part in the first part of the session.
Please get in touch with us if you know you’ll be running late and we will try to accommodate where we can!
