Online Death Cafe: An LGBTQ+ Mourning Space
January 7, 2025 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
The London Queer Death Cafe is a community group dedicated to providing space for LGBTQ+ people to come together and discuss grief, loss and mourning.
Our regular sessions aim to help people find community and belonging in their loss, providing a place to connect, learn and share your experiences.
In 2024 we will be launching a series of online workshops aimed at providing a similar experience for people outside of London, and for those who are not able to easily attend in-person.
These online sessions will focus on facilitated conversations, led by one of our regular organisers and are open to any LGBTQ+ people with any experience of loss. If you are unsure if this group would be helpful for you or have any other questions please feel free to get in touch.
About the facilitator:
Tom Ana is a community organiser from the North of England. They are a facilitator and organiser with the Queer Death Cafe.
Accessibility:
This event is online. Access to Zoom and a microphone is needed. Cameras are encouraged, but not mandatory. If you have any additional access requirements that you would like to highlight please get in touch.
