PULSE Cinema Presents: BIPOC Queer Filmmakers Showcase is an evening dedicated to celebrating bold, diverse storytelling.
Hosted by Pulse Cinema, this intimate screening features short films by BIPOC queer people of marginalised genders, spanning drama, documentaries and experimental genres.
The event will kick off with icebreaker games, fostering connections among creatives and attendees.
Following the screening, a filmmaker panel and Q&A invite deeper discussions on process, challenges, and inspiration.
The night concludes with a relaxed networking session, set to a mellow playlist set with thematic spaces for collaboration.
A welcoming space for film lovers, creatives, and allies alike.
The films which will be screened include:
- RED SOIL – Joshua Ighodaro (Director), Nina McCallum (Producer) – 10 min
- POLAR – Phoebe Yemi Ara (Writer, Director, Producer) – 3 min
- Milkarma – Alice Han-Thomas (Writer, Director) – 10 min
- Ratthum (Blood) – Suga Suppiah (Director), Daljinder Johal (Producer) – 10 min
- The Call – Riffy Ahmed (Director), Danielle Goff (Producer), Vanessa Rose (Writer) – 15 min
