Repurpose and Release: Matchbox Design and Letter Writing Workshop

June 20 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free
This workshop is for East, South and Southeast Asian LGBTQ+ people.

Fire is transformation and writing is release. Feelings can be repurposed and fragments can be arranged to form wholeness.

In the first half of this workshop, we will be repurposing text and images to design matchboxes.

In the second half, you’re invited to write an ‘Unsent Letter’ which you may keep or burn safely at home with your matchsticks (provided at the end of the session to take home for safety).

There are no mistakes in collaging or letter writing. It’s about following your feelings; cut, glue, arrange, reflect, write and release.

This event is for East, South and South East Asian LGBTQ+ people.
