Welcome to The SWANA Queer Network!
These social gatherings have been an absolute joy. We hope you can make the next one on Saturday 26 October.
This group welcomes LGBTQ+ people from S.W.A.N.A (South West Asia and North Africa) regions, their lovers and diaspora. This big social gathering is an opportunity to meet new people, make friends and connect.
As SWANA Queers our hearts are with all of those affected by the ongoing violence and suffering in our beautiful home countries and we come together here in unity, love and strength.
We invite those who wish to bring a small dish of food to do so – we do love a bring and share! (optional).
Please try to arrive as early as possible. Although we vacate the space at 8pm, the group typically continues to socialise after the main event. This is likely to be at a nearby cost-friendly bar.
