Regard

Operating as a self-help group drawing on its members’ experiences, Regard facilitates the dialogue between two marginalized communities: linking the LGBTQI community and the disability community, they promote an intersectional and inclusive approach to LGBTQI disabled people. Following the Social Model of Disability (affirming it is the society that needs to change by removing the barriers that deny the inclusion and equal rights of some of its members), it aims at providing information, advice and support to LGBTQI disabled people as well as raising awareness and campaign on the specific issues they face.
