DIFFERENT
Being different is okay,
There’s nothing wrong with being gay.
There’s no need to make a fuss,
And there’s no need to make us hush.
We Lesbians, Gays, Bisexual and Trans,
Are no different to a straight woman or man.
Everyone should have their freedom and rights,
Let us live in harmony, there’s no need to fight.
We’re all born in our special way,
Let us come together and play.
If God hates Gays, then why are we so cute,
You describe us as if we were the forbidden fruit.
We should all be able to live in peace,
Or maybe have one big feast.
Love is love and hate is hate,
A man being with another man, may just be fate.
We should all have respect for one another,
As you would respect your father and mother.
If we were able to speak our mind,
There would be no need for suicide.
If we were able to come together as one,
Then we could shine as bright as the sun.
