PANTONE 2736

you find yourself thinking about the metro and feeling
silken on the cava. above you turned ribbon.
every drop-dead damp hair on your head could hear the
red reeling from that dress.

it was june and 22:02. you were both timeless.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

My name is Vic, I identify as non-binary and queer (they/them pronouns), and I live in the wonderful city of Brighton. I’m blessed to have a brilliant queer community and friends around me here – life is great – however, my writing sometimes suggests otherwise! I started writing 12 years ago, and it really became an outlet for any intense emotion I was experiencing. I have a couple of collections of writing now and I hope to publish one day, but in the meantime I keep writing and encourage others to do so, too. It can be a great way to process and has helped me through my life, and I am very grateful for that.
